Job Title: Loan Operations Assistant
 
Reports To: Loan Operations Manager
Department: Loan Administration
Date: March 2025
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Loan Operations
  •  Primary person for Collateral Protection Insurance tracking to include, but not limited to, reports, downloads, force placed and refunded policies. Daily monitoring of insurance from all branches and main contact for CPI
  • Work email requests from branches, including but not limited to, payment deferrals, maintenance requests, payment reversals, trust receipts, auto payment transfers, process charge-offs
  • Customer Service - Assist with general customer service issues as needed
  • Process loan payments, including after hour payments, and incoming wire transfers
  • Process paid loans and all maintenance including but not limited to, mailing original titles, mailing original paid notes, pulling Credit Life cancellations, and preparing release of liens on real estate loans
  • Utilize Synergy Capture for index and review of documents, collateral, and/or maintenance for permanent imaging to loans
  • Daily loan review – new, renewal and/or maintenance – all loan types
  • Assist with tracking and scanning of loan exceptions
  • Commercial and Consumer loan processing, to include new, renewals and modifications of loans.
  • Print and mail daily loan notices
  • Back up daily/month end balancing of loan GLs, Credit Life, GAP, and any other reports completed by department
  • Complete other duties as assigned by management

Job Title:           Credit Analyst

Description/Job Summary

The position is entry-level and the first step in a career in commercial lending and/or credit risk. The incumbent will perform financial analyses of new and existing commercial loan customers in order for the bank to make informed lending decisions, complete periodic reviews of existing relationships, and be involved in other various assignments related to the management and evaluation of risk related to the bank’s lending activities. They will report to the bank’s Senior Credit Analyst and work closely with commercial loan officers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Spreading financial statements of commercial borrowers including balance sheets, income statements, and tax returns to facilitate credit analysis
  • Perform financial analyses of commercial borrowers by evaluating liquidity, leverage, and profitability of potential loan customers in order to evaluate credit worthiness along with the analysis of collateral and the financial capacity of individual and corporate guarantors
  • Prepare credit approval memorandums in order to provide management with necessary information in order to make informed lending decisions
  • Complete periodic reviews of existing loan portfolio for asset quality
  • Assist Senior Credit Analyst with the preparation of reports for management and board usage
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, effective listening and interpersonal skills, and attention to detail
  • Requires proficiency with Word and Excel

Job Title:        Deposit Operations Clerk

 

Reports To:   VP – Deposit Operations

Department:   Deposit Operations

Basic Function

 

This position falls within Deposit Operations, the operational unit is primarily responsible for:

  • Fed & ACH Processing
    • Exception item processing, including the handling of unposted items, NSF/Overdraft items, and stop payments
    • Check adjustments & chargebacks
  • Debit cards - customer service, disputes, and compromised cards
  • Ensure compliance with Regulation E and/or Visa Zero Liability timeframes for communication with customers, provisional credit, final resolution
  • Research fraud claims relating to ACHs and/or Checks
  • Process incoming/outgoing wire requests promptly
  • Account research
  • Account holds, levies and/or freezes
  • ATM reconcilement
  • Customer Service inquiries/calls
  • Online Banking – Password resets
